CANschools

CiA CANschools offer a product and vendor independent introduction to CAN basic knowledge, including higher-layer protocols, CAN Kingdom, CANopen, DeviceNet etc. For CANopen there is a special CANschool.
These training events are recommended for d
evelopment engineers and system integrators who want to get an overview on CAN and CANopen and want to judge the technical opportunities related to CAN/CANopen. The training language is English or German (other languages on request).

In-house seminars

In-house seminars are offered for those companies having dedicated training requirements. The agenda of an In-house seminar is tailored to the customer needs. CiA trainers have a long experience in teaching CAN technology. CiA’s In-house seminars may include the following topics and others defined by customer.

The price for one-day seminar is Euro 1,200 (Euro 600 for CiA members) plus VAT and travel expenses.

iCC - international CAN Conference

Once a year CiA organizes the international CAN Conference during which experts speak about latest CAN technologies and practical experience on CAN networks.
The conference is accompanied by a tabletop exhibition and attracts about 200 to 300 participants. In the last years, the iCC took place at Mainz (Germany), London (Great Britain), Paris (France), Berlin (Germany), San José (USA), Turin (Italy), Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and Las Vegas (USA).
The 9th international CAN Conference will take place in Munich (Germany) in October 14 - 16, 2003.
